At Columbia Powersports, we offer Middle Tennessee's largest inventory selection of Off-Road Vehicles and Motorcycles, as well as Accessories, Parts and Apparel.
We are looking to expand our team! This position will be responsible for the basic accounting and bookkeeping functions of the company, including, primarily, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
The ideal candidate not only possesses strong technical accounting skills but also the soft skills necessary to work well with a team and across departments in a supportive role.

Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payment of vendor invoices - Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries in a timely manner - Obtain tax id number/W-9 from all vendors -Review and post GL journal entries -Prepare balance sheet reconciliations as required - Properly Code and Post invoices - Update invoices for all credit card transactions and receipt match - Using tri-match principles for parts vendor processing - Maintain payment schedule to ensure timely payment - Other administrative duties as required Job Type:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
